The successful cooperation, between the investment company KRATEROS SA and the EPC company MESSARITIS Renewables, continues and expands. As part of its investment plan, KRATEROS SA assigned to MESSARITIS Renewables the design and construction of four (4) new PV projects, with total capacity of 2MWp in Central Greece.
An innovation for the Greek market is the fact that these projects will be designed and built at 1.500V DC, instead of 1.000V, thereby minimizing project losses for the benefit of overall production.
Until now, projects, built on this operating voltage, were exclusively implemented abroad and involved multi-megawatt installations. It is worth noting that their design and implementation required an in-depth adaptation of the technical studies and the procurement of materials used, in order to suit this high voltage.
In addition, significant funds were invested in upgrading all the equipment of the company, so that, upon the electrification of the plant, to carry out all the tests provided for, according to the IEC62446:2016.
