PI Photovoltaik-Institut Berlin (www.pi-berlin.com) is an international PV research institute with proven independence from manufacturers, construction companies, suppliers and project financers. Testing was done by PI Berlin from May 5th 2017 until July 2nd 2018.

PI Berlin Declaration

PIDBULL obtained the PI Berlin certificate after conducting independent testing and evaluation during more than one year. The tests performed by PI Berlin prove the effectiveness and widely appreciated characteristics of the high class PID solution by PIDBULL to reliably cure and prevent PID in PV modules. Investment analysis

Conservative loss due to PID after 7 years of PV-operation is at least 5% of annual revenue. In case of string inverters the investment to solve PID amounts to just 4,5% of annual revenue whereas in case of PV-plants with central inverters the investment can be as little as 1% of annual revenue. Considering the remaining lifetime the gain from curing and preventing PID is very pronounced as you can see in the graph below.

Patented technology

Pidbull® has a proven track record with PR increases from 6% to 23% and preventing further losses both for PV plants with central and string inverters. PV-module regeneration can only be obtained reliably in the long run with our patented Master unit.
